I painted this collection of African Bird Eggs in watercolor and gouache on an antique French letter that I mounted on an antique postcard. I then collaged on art papers and stamps. The eggs shown on this card are from the following birds: Red-Crowned Bishop, Cape Crow, Crested Malimbe, Cardinal Quelea, Black-Headed Weaver, Cape Sugarbird, Olive-Bellied Sunbird, Olive Sunbird, Red-Faced Cisticola, and Tree Pipit.
