I painted this beautiful beetle on an antique French postcard dated 1919. This beetle is from my collection, and is one of my favorite insects to paint because of the metallic colors. I also collaged with antique ephemera including, wallpaper, stamps, a fragment of a French letter. The name of this Malaysian beetle is Chrysochroa Rugicolis.
