I painted this beautiful large Birdwing Butterfly on an Antique 19th Century French letter. The roses are cut from an antique postcard. The first time I painted this butterfly from my collection, was when I was working on the cover of my book 'Dragonfly Beetle Butterfly Bee.' I was so amazed by its size and the intense brilliant green on its wings.
